.....and I did.....and the golden rays of sunlight filled the room.....the smell of eucalyptus lingered in the warm breeze...... and the children slept........

.......rosellas and cockatoos fed quietly from the feeder that gently swayed in the breeze....... and the children continued to sleep........

.......and the kettle boiled........the tea brewed.....the fridge hummed.....and the children slept.....

so my first day of 2010....... I let the children sleep, took my huge mug of tea, sat out on the verandah and enjoyed 'my space'........ and it was blissful, and it was quiet, and it made me appreciate everything we have.......
