Aunty Fern comes to stay................

Hamilton Island Church

We've had our first visitors from the UK! Holiday went very quickly; one minute we were collecting Fern and Chris from the airport, the next they were on the plane home! In a nutshell we did stacks! Eumundi Markets, shopping at Maroochy, Noosa National Park, the beaches, Glasshouse Mountains and of course the Whitsunday Islands!

We flew Jetstar up to Hamilton Island, it was ok, no frills airline but fairly comfortable and it was just a 40 min flight so no complaints .

The resort is just beautiful, caters for children well, clean beaches, plenty to do. We hired a villa, cost a bomb, but sleeps 10 so spacious and had a pool in a small complex. The villa was located near to Hamilton's main shopping street/harbour and within walking distance to the resort and facilities. Highlights would have to be sailing around the islands, the reef and bush walking up to Passage Peak! Views from there were amazing, but getting there was tough! Honestly I have no stamina!

Breakfast with the koalas was fun as were the Mud Baby cocktails!

Nightlife pretty good too!Weather 30 degrees!
